  • Tonight we honored our Class of 2019 Hall of Fame:

    Chad McDowell - Class of 2019
    After a stellar career as the Pilots’ point guard (1991-1995) Chad McDowell was named the LSUS Men’s Basketball Head Coach in 2003. He was tasked with resurrecting the program after it had been discontinued in 1997 and quickly turned it into a NAIA perennial power. His teams won at least 20 games in every season and topped out at 30 or more wins twice—31-3 in 2007-2008 and 30-4 in 2010-2011. Following his stint as Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Chad was named the LSUS Athletic Director in 2012 and served in that position through 2016.

    Andrew Brouillette - Class of 2019
    One of the premier hitters to step into the box for the Pilots, Andrew Brouillette holds 11 LSUS records in a career that spanned from 2009-2011. He became the first Pilot to hit for the “cycle,” recording a single, double, triple and home run on February 20, 2009. Playing on the NAIA World Series team of 2011, he will go down as one of the best ever to wear the LSUS uniform.

    Fredericko Payne - Class of 2019
    Known for his long distance three-pointers, Fredericko Payne is one of the best shooters to ever put on the LSUS uniform. He holds six LSUS records, was named Player of The Year three times, and was the only multiple time 1st Team All-American in program history. He played from 2004 to 2006.
