  • ICYMI: a number of students who participated earlier this academic year in the production of Mother's Bliss, Mother's Woe traveled to the KCACTF Region 1 Festival. This #TBT we asked some of the students who attended to share a few words about their experiences.

"It's always great to get these opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. ... At KCACTF, we had the pleasure of attending various specialized classes in design, stage management, lighting, acting, directing, etc. that not only allowed us to hone our talents, but provided us with networking opportunities we can benefit from as we begin thinking about starting jobs and careers in Theater." - Nada Shaaban, Communication Arts '19

"I was able to meet professionals in theater and students who have similar goals as me. It was so amazing and inspiring to hear their stories. ... The entire experience was absolutely life changing." - Monique Plante, Fashion Merchandising '20

"Being a part of the KCACTF was a true honor, not only for what the festival has to offer when it comes to learning, networking and practicing our craft, but also because we were under the caring and professional supervision of Professor Caffrey - and of course in the company of the great, talented individuals I get to call my friends! I recently ended my undergrad journey at FSU, and to end it like this was a real gift." - Diego Rocha, English '18
