“Most industries will dramatically change from what they are today. Be open to new ideas and opportunities in your life. You’ll graduate from Montclair State but don’t ever graduate from learning.”

Remembering an early experience of being fired from her first business venture, she learned that failure makes you stronger and work harder.

In March, University College delivered a full-court press 🏀March Madness-inspired “Major Madness” showcase of Montclair State’s 300 majors, minors and concentrations. “Signing Day,” the finale, was a celebration of the major declarations where students were welcomed by their new deans and presented with T-shirts from their new academic home.

Leading up to “Signing Day,” more than 550 students who were previously pre-major had declared majors since fall 2018.
