  • Meet the co-dean of Rutgers Law School: Kimberly Mutcherson knew since she was 10 years old that she wanted to be a lawyer. "I thought that being a lawyer was a way to do good things in the world, to be somebody who was of benefit, and that's what I wanted to do."

Co-Dean Mutcherson assumed her role on the Camden campus on Jan. 1, 2019. She is the first woman, African American, and LGBT law dean at Rutgers. Prior to her current position, she served here as vice dean and professor. A noted scholar on issues related to reproductive justice, assisted reproduction, and abortion, she first joined Rutgers in 2002.

  • This summer, we're sharing highlights from the Rutgers-Camden Athletics & Recreational Services Scarlet Raptors' 2018-2019 athletics season.

Defensive player Kacie Walton is this year's lacrosse MVP. She also earned the New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention for the second straight year. This hardworking nursing major started all 15 games for the season, leading the team with 56 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers, while adding two goals and six draw controls. Her 56 ground balls set a program single-season record. And lacrosse isn't the only sport where Kacie shines. She also represents the Scarlet Raptors on the soccer and basketball teams. #Raptortude
