  • “My family used to have a "Grinch Party" every year in December. It was the first time during the holidays that we were allowed to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which my brother and I loved. We would decorate the living room with green, wear green clothes, and eat all green food with “roast beast!” It's one of my favorite memories from the holidays with my family!” #IAmOSUCHS #HolidayTraditions #MedSchoolHolidays

  • Happy Finals Week! In order to spread some cheer in the midst of busy studying this week, members from OSU’s Christian Medical Association (CMA) held a potluck for any students looking to take a break from studying to enjoy a free hot meal and some warm company. Students, staff and our team security guards were welcomed to enjoy casserole, stew, tacos and delicious desserts. The CMA potluck was a great success. #WeAreOSUCHS #OSUCMA #FinalsWeek

  • Happy Finals Week! How do some of our students keep the stress levels low while studying hard? First-year medical student Michael Anderson takes a bit of stress off of studying by having a little fun with a plastic skull model he’s reviewing:

“I figured if I became “one” with the skull model it would help me absorb more knowledge. Or at least be able to tell the difference between foramen spinosum and foramen rotundum!” – Michael Anderson, OMS-1 #FinalsWeek #AlmostThere #IAmOSUCHS

  • "I am thankful for my good sense of humor. There is nothing better than laughing with your friends and family till you are in tears! Also, laughter can decrease stress hormones, boosts immunity, increases resilience and can help combat depression. Laughter releases endorphins which promotes an overall sense of well being and can even temporarily relieve pain. Focus on finding the laughable moments in your day! Laughter is truly the best medicine!"
