I always tell them about how there’s a rabbi on campus and that we’re a growing community with a busy calendar of activities.”

The justices were in Kingston to celebrate the bicentennial of the historic Ulster County Courthouse. The students were able to listen to oral arguments in three appeals and participate in a question-and-answer session with the judges. www.marist.edu/admission/summer-pre-college

  • “It may sound odd to think of games as a way to help us consider new perspectives or cultivate empathy for others, especially when many proclaim otherwise. But, in fact, a well-designed game (whether digital or analog) allows players to “try on” or embody new identities, engage with other players, and make the strange a little more familiar,” writes Karen Schrier, Associate Professor and Director of the Games and Emerging Media Program.
