-Can affect people in all walks of life and all professions.
    -Common in highly-accomplished individuals.
    -More common in women.

  • Every person’s #MS journey is unpredictable and unique. The personalized treatment and care Jeanne Andrews received at UAMS through Dr. Lee Archer and his team including Laura Bargainer, APRN significantly raised her quality of life and that of her family. In recognition of this life-changing care, Jeanne gave $30,000 from her estate to the UAMS Department of Neurology.

This gift was recently delivered by Jeanne’s sons Collins and Spencer Andrews. The funds will be used for vital equipment, the establishment of a Central Arkansas support group for those living with MS, and education and treatment resources tailored to the individual needs of each patient in the UAMS Department of Neurology’s care improving the unseen impact on their quality of life.

Today is #WorldMSDay, when people around the world raise awareness of multiple sclerosis and its unseen impact on quality of life. #MyInvisibleMS #betterstateofhealth

Dr. Carl Collier began working there in 1951 as a child, graduated from UAMS College of Pharmacy in 1964 and took over the stores in 1971. Dr. Collier has always been a strong supporter of the College of Pharmacy, and in 2013, the Collier Family Endowed Scholarship was established to support pharmacy students in Arkansas.
