  • We are incredibly proud of how our community has come together to make sure our campus reopens tomorrow. We want to thank you all for your patience.

Our driving force throughout this process has been our students. We are doing our best to make sure they have what they need to finish this semester on time.

Many of you have asked how you can lend a hand, and one way is through the UAA Student Support Fund. Donations to this fund help students in crisis who need help with medical, living, dependent care and/or transportation expenses.

Please visit our page and click the "Donate Now" button to make a contribution.

Gifts can also be made online at engage.alaska.edu/give-now, or by mailing a check payable to the UA Foundation, with “UAA Student Support Fund” in the memo line, to:

  • We are happy to report main campus and other Anchorage facilities will be open tomorrow!

Some important tips as you return to campus:

+ Plan to arrive early, buildings and parking may take a bit longer to navigate.

+ Stay clear of any areas that have been roped off for facilities staff.

+ Some buildings may have elevators which still need to be inspected.

+ Parking enforcement is suspended through winter break, but please do not park in the brown areas. This is reserved for facilities and those working on restoring campus.

+ If you see anyone from the facilities team, give them a high five 🙌🏼 (or an applause 👏🏽) for encouragement and a job well done. They've worked around the clock to make sure we all get back to business.

+ If you need assistance with anything at all, please contact the UAA Dean of Students at (907) 786-1214 or via email at aydos@uaa.alaska.edu.

We can't wait to see you back on campus! Thank you for sticking with us these past several days. Your support and kind words have helped us through this challenging time.
