  • We are proud to honor the legacy of UAA alumnus Dale Tran. Last Friday, on what would have been Dale's 45th birthday, Grace Beaujeaun became the first recipient of the American Marketing Association and F.X. Dale Tran Memorial Scholarship.

Grace is working towards a Master in Public Administration at the UAA College of Business and Public Policy.

“I'd like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for this award," she said. "Having grown up in Alaska, I knew that I would always want to return home and work in my community. Your assistance will help me to realize these goals. Thank you again for your generosity. It means the world.”

The scholarship is awarded to CBPP graduate students who demonstrate the same value for community involvement which Dale Tran embodied.
